The Big Ones are Bitting ( In Kentucky )

I was thinking I should show some Pics Of my trip last week to Kentucky Lake ( Blood River ) As you can see the red rattle trap did well for me again this year. The big one went 7.2 The biggest bass I have ever caught. Needless to say I was a little jack up at that point.

Nice bass Andy - I'm jealous.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Nice fish.. I used to live there and no the area well. Did you try a jerk bait or carolina rigged lizard??

Did you see that Mike Auten is giving a seminar on Kentucky Lake and Barkley at DNR Sports in Kalamazoo at 10 am and 1 pm this Saturday?

Most of our fish came on rattle traps, my bud did have some good luck on spinnerbaits.
