Fishing report 5/8

With the fluctuations in temperature on a daily basis the bass seem to be confused.
Today they were up shallow but not very active.  Its like they were just sitting there waiting to make beds but hadn't started yet. 
They wouldn't bite a variety of lures.
Water temp still not at 60 by mid afternoon.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

agreed.  Went out same day and saw a ton of nice ones but they were not interested.  Did find a handful of beds.  water temp was 56 to just over 58 in a few spots.  Very slow day

I was up north little over a week ago.  Hit Leelanau, Charlevoix, Burt & Mullet Chain, and a couple smaller lakes.  Weather was horrible and the fish were no where near the shallows yet.  Did manage some smallmouth and largemouth, but having to go up early this year really hurt the fishing.
