well the latest fishing moment occured in my garage. My 4 year old needs a picture for pre-school and she wanted to take it sitting in the boat.  only a couple years away from having a daily fishing buddy!

Life is good.

That's a good story.

Hard saying... Great topic! Well, I have to say that it tickles me when I am fishing that tube and I put that perfect twitch or hop on it, I just know when that fish is gonna hit (some times the rod is already swinging before I feel the hit!) but as soon as that sensation of the bite happens.... (this is what really gets me) I swing that rod and hear the line whip through the water and air, and the magic feeling of that rod doubling over... Ahh those are the times that makes me feel all kinds of love for the sport

The best thing for me is really, truly, seriously figuring them out. To the point where you can almost call your shots. That is what I live for.

That's a pretty good goal to shoot for.

I had one of those moments on LSC this past Sunday fishing with eetz.  We found a group of beds and every well positioned drop would result in the line moving to the side and bam, fish on.  Was truly phenomenal.

Starting out early in the morning, right when the sun is rising and tossing a top water.  The fog is rolling off the water, and seeing that top water lure EXPLODE with a bucket mouth on the end!!

For me it's all about putting the boat in the water. I remember being a kid and begging my dad to let me help launch the boat. I literally studied him doing it for years and couldn't wait until I could do it. He finally trusted me with his boat when I was about 9. I was stoked and I nailed it. I still feel like that little 9 year old every time I put a boat in the water.
