Inland lakes to hang out at

So my teens are becoming real duds.  They just want to laze around for the summer.  So I need some recommendations of good inland lakes where I can take them tubing and maybe a little fishing.  It would need to have a picnic area and a playground (or park) because I have a 4 year old.  Pontiac lake is ok, but last time I was there is was packed and there was so much hookah I felt lightheaded by the end of the day.  I'm not being racial in any way...I just can't stand the smell and smoke.

Cass Lake or Orchard Lake are both nice.    Cass has Dodge Park which is a state park.  There is a picnic area where you can pull your boat up and anchor.  I think there is a play structure for the kids.     Orchard lake has a nice launch on Orchard Lake Road.   Not as busy as Cass.  There is a big island in the middle you can pull up to and anchor.  No park or picnic area.  The East shore is nice sandy area to.

Can't go tubing on Stony Creek unless they enjoy an under 10mph ride.

Cass and Orchard are excellent suggestions. If you want to go north a bit, Higgins is a great "fun" lake with a State Park. Pontiac should be good. Hookah even an issue during the week?

Lakeville Lake is pretty nice and there is Addison oaks Park a couple of miles away.. The fishing there is kind of fun the way it lays out...
The launch has a pretty nice grassy area where you could grill or whatever...You could also park and hit the Irish pub in town...

Half moon has the state park, playground, swimming beach, and is on the chain.
It is under utilized on week days.
Would probably have the park to your self.
If you go there call me.  I'll tell you about the rope swing.

Lots of good suggestions. The lakes that usually pop up in my mind are the quieter no-wake, slow speed ones as well so very low speed tubing. You could create a new sport - tube-sight seeing maybe? At Stony we had a bald eagle catch a bass just a short way from us the one time I've been there recently.
