Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Unique Opportunity to watch the pros UP CLOSE!

TBF has the opportunity for 5 or 6 TBF Ranger Owners to be Camera boats for the upcoming Chevy Open in Detroit, July 10-13. (I'm not sure where we are at for sign-up so far - contact Dennis Beltz for availability.)

IF you are a camera boat driver you will be paid 125.00 a day. Watch the pros up close and personal.

Or if you would like to volunteer to help at the FLW Fun Zone,  the MI TBF booth... or the weigh-in you're welcome as well! Get up close and personal!

OR just come to watch the weigh-ins, register to win a free Ranger Boat given away on Sunday July 13th (must be present to win)!

Camera boats positions are first come first serve.

Contact Dennis Beltz for more information at dbeltz4 at wowway dot com or call 586-286-3523.

Thanks and we hope to see YOU at the weigh-ins!

Hey Dan, Michigan TBF must be having problems with getting volunteers for the Chevy Open? Being an Ohio TBF club president, I just got the email from Dennis Beltz and forward from Robert Cartledge that the TBF is still looking for volunteers and asking Ohio TBF to help out.

I don't really know exactly where we are at. I was told we have one whole club again and several others so we may be close. I guess everyone is fishing the event ;D Harder to get people to commit to some things when gas is staying over $4... but the show MUST GO ON!!! And will. It will be a more huge show than last year!!

UPDATE: We have all the critical tournament volunteer spots covered and set.

We could still use some help Thursday and Friday just before and through weigh in for persons to help with the weigh in, moving fish and possibly driving carts to take the pro anglers back and forth. What the heck! You get to spend a few minutes with some of the big names! Contact Dennis at the number above.

Also, we could still use some help Saturday and/or Sunday at the huge Kids Fun Zone/Show at the TBF booth and with the various youth activities we are running - Reel Kids and Kids Teaching Kids.

Please help if you can and thank you. See you there.
