06/20/15 Anchor Bay

Launched at self ridge  fished 7:00-12:00.  Fished the bay as well as over towards the channel.  caught about a dozen smallies between us.  Probably had 15-16 lbs with one near 5.  Couldn't find a solid pattern.  Caught fish on drop shot, tubes, trap, and wacky senko.  Nothing on cranks, top water, or spybait.

Weeds seem to be a little behind in their growth this year.  Had to hunt to find them.

I was out there for a while Friday and the weeds are definitely sparse and scattered in Anchor Bay. At least the parts we fished other than around the dredged channels. The weeds seemed behind all over. The mayfly hatch seems sparse and behind too.

When we were up at St. Clair we did good on swim baits, Senkos and Spy Baits. No real numbers and fish from 2-3 1/2 lbs. 7 days fishing from safe light to about 3pm
