Donations at Ultimate Sport Show help feed the hungry in West Michigan

It's that time of year again when sportsmen and sportswomen in West Michigan step up and make a difference for those less fortunate in the community. The Annual Tony Gates/Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger Food will be Thursday, March 19, during opening day of the Ultimate Sport Show, at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.

Bring six boxes or cans (4 pounds minimum) of non-perishable food items to DeVos Place on Thursday and receive a pass for free admission to the Show that day only - a $10 value for adults.

Plus, Free ORV Safety Certification class is Saturday, March 21

The Kent County Sheriff Department will hold a free Off Road Vehicle Certification Class on Saturday, March 21 at the Ultimate Sport Show-Grand Rapids. The 70th annual event, Michigan's largest sport show, is at DeVos Place, 303 Monroe NW in downtown Grand Rapids.

The class is scheduled from Noon to 5 p.m. Pre-registration is not required. Students who check in at the show entrance will be escorted to the classroom on the third floor. When the class ends, they will receive free admission to the sport show, which runs until nine o'clock that evening. Visit complete article on GreatLakesBass.com Shows for details.
