Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Have any of you had a chance to play with these at the shows or local retailers?  What do you think?  Smaller screen than most 5" units out there but it is a "wide screen" format like the larger series.  They still take the Lakemaster chips, offer downscan, sidescan, and standard sonar at what seems like a reasonable price.  The appear to operate just like my 977, which is nice.

Looking for opinions on these units... but would rather not see all the "you should get a Lowrance XYZ unit," I know all about those already, thanks.

I was wondering the same. They seem to have all the main features as their larger,  more expensive big brothers. Wish they were out last year before I dropped a thousand bucks on the 899!!!! I'm almost disappointed I was able to fix my front graph. Would have been a great excuse to give one a try haha

That $499 price is a standard retail price... you won't find the Helix units discounted anywhere this year.  On sale maybe, but not discounted.
