Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Kind of funny how the reports dry up near the opener when there are some tourneys on St. C . A buddy of mine called me last night and said that he killed them out there. Caught fish just about every where they went. No huge fish but a number of 4 lbders. Should be good weather, but for next week it looks like rain forecasted about every day.

It's like this every year.  In fact, in general the whole board slows down.  Here's a report from today 5/15.  Got out at 6:45.  Launched at the Cutoff.  Fished Huron Pointe with just a few short fish.  Fished Strawberry with no bites.  Fished a wreck I know of near the channels, nothing but a few shorts.  Moved down to the Mile Roads, caught 22, but the best 5 only went about 9.5.  Couldn't find the bigger fish today.  Got off the water by 1.  The water was nice, but the boat traffic got crazy after noon.

How deep were you fishing off the mile roads?

Revtro

I fished 3 main depths: 7.5, 9, 14 mostly.  Of course, I did hit some stuff in between.  Where have the bigger fish gone?

I Fished near 10mile  In 7.5 ft of water on the 15th .  Caught several 3 pounders a few 4lbs.  The water was a little stained but we caught at least 30 fish in three hours.  At one point we had a triple. They were caught following hooked fish to the boat. I fished from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
