Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

For all of you who are not fishing the Huron Valley Bass series: silly anglers...you should be!

This trail has a sweet, two day championship: pays well and always fun!

So this years event was on Kent/Portage.

Yesterday on Kent was killer (as was Friday).  Temps still in the upper sixties, and very little bait fish activity.  From Milford Rd. bridge all the way to the West launch, over ten hours of fishing I only saw baitfish in two spots and very little feeding activity on either.  Friday and Saturday combined produced only a half dozen keepers and only a couple dozen shorts, and surprisingly no Pike.  Some of the toughest fishing I have ever experienced on Kent.  Five of sixteen teams had double digit weights, while most of the rest had less than 5pounds.

Sad to say, today on Portage was just as bad, if not worse.  Water temps 64-67, water clear (as usual), and light wind with lots of sun, and brutal fishing   Spent most of the day on Big Portage, and a couple of hours on Base Line.  Results...15 to 20 short (most over 13/even one smallmouth), one Pike, a couple rock bass and three small keepers largies.  Only a handful of teams had a limit.
