Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I am looking for a spare prop for my 2006 yamaha 150 v max. Anybody got anything that will work that they want to part with. Like I said just need a spare just something to get me back to the dock if I mess up mine. I am running a yamaha 23m right now. Feel free to give me a call if you got one.

Thanks
Bill

bill what speed and rpm's are you running? this info will get you closer to the correct prop fro your set-up

Firefighter Jeff

Aren't composit props reasonable???  Or are you looking to spend less on a used one??

stackenem

Bob Don't really run full speed so not really sure on top speed and rpm's.

FF just looking for a spare. Don't know much about the composites except if you hit anything with them they explode so I have heard.

That may be true Bill, but you said you wanted one just to get you back to the dock.    :-\'

Firefighter Jeff

Now, if you hit something every time you return to the dock, then yes, that WOULD be a problem !!!  Hahahahahahaha    :D

stackenem

Yep just to get me back. So who handles the composite I know I could google it but it is so much better hearing from all the people out there. Give me something to read while at work LOL

Waterfoul

Stay away from the composites... they all break eventually.

Just get yourself an aluminum prop.  They are light and pretty durrable, and they are fairly cheap.  You can get them in many places:  your local marina, Cabelas, West Marine, Bass Pro, etc...

Probably the route to go Bill.  Even though you just want one in case you need to make it back to the dock, you have to consider how long it might take to have the other one repaired.
