First timer at the Show
« on: January 11, 2013, 07:39:42 AM »

I would say attending my first fishing show was a success. Got to meet KVD and have him autograph my hat plus listen to him talk about some hard bait techniques

Also got to talk with Dan K and Tom (Revtro) at the booth. What a couple of nice guys and it was pretty kool to see KVD walk by and give a big high five to Dan

It helps to have 46 years of the fishing bug under the belt!! I still have tons of nice people, especially anglers, to meet though!! The shows are worth it to me just to catch up with tons of people from the new days, the old days and both! Some of the people I only seem to get to see once or twice a year at the shows anymore.

It was nice to meet you face-to-face too gmetime24. Hopefully, we'll bump into each other some more somewhere along the fishing path.

(PS: KVD was just reminding me that he kicked my fishing butt many, many times at the state level before he moved on to kick everyone's butts at the world level!!! A 'who's the man, he's the man' high five!?! Which is all good. He IS The Man!! ;D )
