I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

has anyone used this line? how do you like it. i see they have 7lb test a little odd but i'd give it a try. well i'm off to the sunline site for diameter info

jdg279

Haven't fished the 7 lb.  But i have used 8 lb on spinning gear with no problems.  I use it in 8, 10, 14, 16, & 20 lb tests and love it.  The only fluoro I use.  I'm not going to claim its the best on the market since I have only fished a handful of brands. (for the record it beats Trilene 100%, XPS, and Seaguar Invisx IMO) All I'm saying is once I used it I haven't had a reason to go looking for any other brand of fluoro.  Try and find it 1/2 off they run sales sometimes.

motocross269

I run it for Leader material in 8 and 10lb...Seems to work fine.

I went through about 5-6 different brands after XPS started having quality issues last year.

I pretty much settled on the Sunline sniper and the Tatsu.

bob o

thanks guys i give it a try this year

Team houston

During my Marshaling experiences, I would have to say that sunline is used by most of the pros.

I plan on running a spinning rod with it when I go down to Bull Shoals/Table Rock in the spring.  If it's as good as they ads say it is I'm sure I'll spool up a couple more.

I used p-line until I found sniper on sale a few years back at gander mountain. Can't remember the last time I broke off on my 14lb test. Even pike can't saw it. Just singed up for their 40% + college discount  ;D

Waterfoul

Dang Ross... I think you can be my line dealer.   ;D

Ross ever tell you who he won his first tournament with?

Did a pretty good job netting Dan's fish that day lol. These pics are from a Thursday nighter during summer 08 on Manistee Lake; it was my first rodeo and first win! As the story goes, that Thursday I was prefishing with my dad for my first tournament ever the following Sunday on Manistee Lake. Dan was also prefishing for the Sunday tournament as well. I was interested in joining tear drop bass club and emailed Dan (who runs teardropbass.com) and found out he had a cottage on Big Bass Lake also. I followed Dan to the lake that morning. After a long day of prefishing, Dan and I met up and exchanged notes before heading in. As we got back to the ramp, Dan noticed some of his old tournament buddies showing up for a derby. I asked Dan if he wanted to give it a go. After 12 hours of fishing Dan said why not. I was so geeked! Manistee can be tough at times, and it only took our three fish weighing over 8 lbs to win big bass and heaviest sack. The 4lb smallie did come out of my honey hole though  ;D I'm sure everyone can remember the moment that got them hooked on tournament fishing  ;D

Waterfoul

What boat ramp was that photo taken at?  I always use the one in town by the river.
