I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I have never fished lk orion and I live about 20 min. away.  I would like to go sometime this week and I was wondering what depth I should target and what size bass should I expect.

Thanks,
Bass Ninja

Was there several weeks ago.  Fishing was slow.  The majority of our fish came by fishing the deep weed lines very slowly.  It was a pain stacking way to learn a lake.  When we'd find fish there'd  be a bunch there.  Then another quarter mile until we'd find some more.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

It's really one of the better LM lakes around here

There's been 18 pound bags
But 12-14 are the norm

At this time of the year
there's a dock bite and a deeper jig bite

bassfan586

Deeper weedlines.  18'  with jigs.  Its slow but the fish are big.  The nite bite has been pretty good till about 11pm.  My partner cleans house on the docks with a weightless senko.

Took a 2nd place there on July 7 in an NBAA One on One event with 15.17lbs. I caught all my fish 15 fow or more. The winning bag was 16.92lbs. and I don't know what that angler did for his success.  Bassmandan was 3rd place and I am sure for informational purposes, he may give you some of his insight. Slow methodical presentations on these deep weed lines was the ticket to my success there. Good luck and let us know how you do.

I was thinking of drop shot and tossing a sticko to the docks.  I may go this evening if I can get all my work done around the house.

Thanks,
Bass Ninja
