Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

No late fees for GR BFL if you are also fishing the TBF State Championship

If you are fishing the TBF state championship, there are no late fees this week if you decide to also fish the BFL on Saturday also on the Grand River. You'll pobably be there already. Just tell the people at FLW Outdoors that you are fishing the TBF SC too when you call in - 270-252-1000.

$200 for boaters; $100 for co-angler nonboater.

There were 83 boats so in the BLF Grand River so far this morning.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
