I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Ok, bass season has been closed for 2 days.  It has been 1 week since I have been on the lake.  It has been 2 weeks since I have caught any fish.  Now, snow.  Has anyone else's mood really taken a major turn like mine?  I have got to find something to keep me occupied.  I have been a major grouch (been called way worse by the wife and kids in the last couple of days) since it started snowing.  I'm in major trouble if I can't even make it a week into this crappy weather.  I think I need to hit the lotto and move somewhere warm.  I wouldn't mind being a GLB member from Texas or Florida maybe. >:(

Don't get me wrong, I am extremely grateful for the extra long fishing season. But, I am left craving more.  I CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING!!!

Waterfoul

Got a temporary fix today... went to Bass Pro Shops in Auburn Hills.  ;D  The Novi fishing show is in 2 weeks.  GR show is not far away.   Probably make a trip down to Lunkers in there some where too...  Then it's Table Rock Lake first week of April.

Supposed to be 40 on Thursday... you could go out and walleye fish you know...  they will eat "the bait" too.

I know that I am ready for spring already can not wait to get the boat back out and catch some fish on a jerk bait.

Hang in there mikeszr800!! It's gonna be a bumpy ride but we can do it... together!

Mike O.  Make sure to try and let me know if you make a trip to Lunkers.  If I'm off, I'd like to meet up with you there.  :)

I'm planning on going to the GR show. Can't make it to Novi.

Guess I need to start praying for ice. Then, at least I can be on the lake. If there wasn't salt on the roads, I'd be out trying to catch something. I'm not real fond of my boat and trailer in white. It looks way better black and gold.

Only 116 days until catch and release opens!!!!!   ;D

Maybe I should install a countdown just for you...?? :D

hey jeff and mike, lunker's is really getting down on their stock! not much there at all! hardly any rods besides older loomis rods and the yamamoto  pegs are getting bare too. unless they are going to stock up it's hardly worth the trip. everything is in 1 room now, including all the hunting stuff .

DK, I think your going to have to start a section in the forum for winter therapy.  Cabin fever is setting in quicker than ever.  Are there any head shrinks that are members of the forum who could be the moderators??

Well, thanks for the update.  We don't go down there for rods... usually for soft plastics and crankbaits type things.  For us it's as much a chance just to get out of town for a day as it is to actually buy something!  LOL!!

Also, Poor Boys is having their open house on Jan 27 and 28th. Im planning on going down on the 28th.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

Could you?  That would be great. You could put it in the block that says "Hello (user name), and has the date and time under it. That might help to brighten everyone's spirits. Will give visual evidence that it is getting closer. Supposed to be 40ish in the next couple of days. Sure wish I knew how to catch walleye. If that's even open still?

Where is this located at?

Also, if you ever start fishing for smallmouth bass more, are you going to change your username to SMMOUTH?

Poor Boys is having their open house at the Poor Boys factory outlet in Lagrange Indiana. Ok maybe its more like a shop. You can find out how everything is made while buying right off their shelves.

No I will stick to LGMOUTH thank you very much.

Are you POSITIVE that you can buy during the open house.

Normally they do NOT sell Poor Boys stuff except a very tiny, TINY selection of odds/ends clearance stuff.
They do sell the stuff from LureCraft though. Stuff to make your own baits, and also lead products. Their jig heads are what I tie my jigs on. For the cost, it just doesn't make sense for me to pour my own.
