Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

My friend Duran Martinez has moved his popular outdoors radio show to Wild Michigan Outdoor Radio syndicated on 15 radios stations throughout Michigan now (as of 7/15/2011) with most shows on Sundays.

Click the link to check out stations, cities and times covered. I'll be on the station this weekend talking to Duran about some summertime bass fishing in Michigan. Mentioned White Lake as  a hot lake and actually lucked out today fishing it with LGMOUTH. Let me tell you... White Lake is HOT!! Fun, fun day!

If you haven't already, please Like Wild Michigan Outdoor Radio on Facebook too! Duran had 2011 Bassmaster Rookie of the Year Ott Defoe on two weeks ago. He covers pretty much everything outdoors with experts from around the country every weekend. CHECK HIM OUT!!
