Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Friend of mine just moved down to Wixom for a job. We never got to crazy into traveling around fishing when he lived in Lansing, so I'm unfamiliar with places to get into smallies and largemouth in the area.

If anyone can point us into some areas I would forever be appreciated, not looking to drive forever away, but any places within reason would be helpful. Again, I know nothing of the area so I'm not sure what he has found as of now to try. Also any directions to launches would be appreciated, or round about areas so I can google map them, thanks!!!

I alsi live in wixom.  one of the reasons I like wixom is because you can get to any of dozens of lakes within minutes.  you are literally 20 minutes or less away from kent, woodland, chemung, white, pontiac, proud, pettibone, teeple, and many more.  about 30 minutes to cass, belleville, maceday, orion, silver, fenton, etc.  oh, lets not forget union and long about 15 minutes up the road.  ton of great fishing in thats area.  too many lakes to list.
