I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Ok, I usually love winter.  I love snowmobiling.  But, we just can't get any snow here in western Michigan.  I haven't been on my boat in 4 weeks, and it is driving me crazy.  I have been thinking about hitting the lake again, but really don't want to go by myself.  Apparently, I'm not sane by most people's standards?  I think I may have just found something to ease my frustration....when it finally gets here.  I just ordered the new Rapala Pro Bass Fishing game for the PS3.  It looks pretty sweet, and comes with a wireless rod and reel for a controller!  Last year I bought the BPS game for the Wii, and lost interest in it fast.  The new game is set like the Elite Series shows on tv.  Tournament style, with announcers, and leader updates as you fish against the pros.  I can't wait.

Try ice fishing! treat it just like you would bass fishing and it will keep your decision making sharp till spring time!

Mike S.

I get bored on the ice. Not enough moving around. Plus, the boat is way more comfortable than a bucket.

There were some east siders over on Muskegon Lake last year ice fishing. They were out there covering water by snowmobiling here and there, setting out tip ups and spudding holes to fish through. They saw a guy out there on the ice casting a rapala . He would just cast it out over the ice and reel it in. The east siders kept watching him and kept shaking there heads talking about the knucklehead that was fishing on the ice that way. Finally, one of the east siders couldn't take it any longer and jump on his snowmobile and ran over to the guy. Once there, he started to chastise the guy. He said, "What in the heck do you think you're doing? You ought to know you can't catch fish on the ice that way! Jump on the back of this snowmobile. You have to troll with that kind of bait!"
"Not in the clamor of the crowded streets nor in the shouts and plaudits of the throng, but within oneself lies victory or defeat."

Mike S.

Ummm, are you picking on the west siders?  There's no way that really happened.  Is there?  Haha!  Just so everybody knows, that wasn't me.  I don't go on Muskegon lake in the winter.  My dad and I have both fallen through several times out there.  There are a bunch of dummies that spud holes out there, and are too lazy or inconsiderate to put something in the holes when they're done.  That really sucks.  My dad almost lost his sled out there.  We rode out, and he got off on the left side and walked around the front.  When we were leaving, he went to get on from the right side, and fell through a spudded hole less than a foot from his sled.  Not cool.  Maybe the guy casting was the one spudding holes everywhere and not marking them?

If you are going to bring snowmobiles over here from the east side, look me up, and let's go riding.  We've got a few good trails here.

djkimmel

Actually... he's picking on the Eastsiders. Demerit logged.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
