4/30-5/2

I only have final exams this week up at MSU on wed and thursday so I was able to take a little break from the books and get 3 good days on the water in

4/30 fished the halfmoon chain had a pretty good day best 5 woulda went over 12 lbs caught fish mostly shallow and a few off beds...threw mostly jigs tubes and senkos and fished highland, bruin, and halfmoon.

5/1 got out to the portage chain and had a great day caught fish on my first cast!!! luckily that first cast curse didnt hold true.  found lots of smallies on beds and a few largemouth also...and several areas loaded with beds but no fish I'll be back as soon as it warms up a little more. threw a little bit of everything again with a green pumpkin tube doing most of the damage. best 5 13-14lbs

5/2 hit halfmoon again only this time it rained on me all day but still it was better then being in class. caught a few more fish off beds but it was tough to see with the rain...and the fish that were on beds are gone in a lot of places. caught a lot of shorts today and only 4 keepers all 2-3lbs tubes and senkos were the deal again today.

wish I had more pics but only had a partner on sunday and the camera phone doesnt work so well by yourself...here they are...time to get back to the books for two days and then its summer for me!!!
