Metro Beach Perch?

Has anyone fished Metro Beach, or near the Harbor Master? If so, how did you do, what time, weather conditions, ect.
I went out with some buddies on sunday and got skunked.

Normally, they do pretty good on perch during the cold water period off the bay side of Harley Ensign (facing towards Black Creek) from what I've been told.

I had heard reports a few weeks ago that the perch and walleye fishing out from Metro Beach had been spotty due to dirty water and possibly unstable water temps. I remember one person saying they did well, but that was weeks ago.

I went out that way this passed weekend and only seen a few fish caught.
