Dan,

Here's the Report from 8/17
Seeing that It was going to rain. I got to the ramp around 9:00
The guy at the ramp told me, they just put the ramp back in, Seems someone pulling a boat had hooked the ramp and pulled it out with the boat? He had to get a tractor to put it back in

So it's lightly raining, I tried the Big swim bait, then cranks threw a senko
Caught nothing the first hour, so I moved down the lake, Nothing there
Now it's pouring, I'm hitting the shallow pads, tried top water, nothing
Just kept moving along. I'm on Lotus and I started catching small bass on a Nemesis goby
But there all small fish, I tried up scaling to a senko and the bite slowed down.
And then I switched colors on the Fluke and it stopped raining
and they were slamming it, shallow or deep some places cast after cast but they were all small fish
So I started working backwards to past spots, Still slamming the Fluke and all small fish
After 30 or so fish I left Lotus
Went back to Macaday around the deep hole with the fluke but I used a nail weight to get in down
Nothing in the 5-7' of water. The bite was best right on the edge of the 9-12' of water
Now and then you could see the fish, There's a good amount of qty. fish stacked up there
Ended up with (4) very nice LM, One nice SM and 2 fish that would have kept

I did come up on a weed bed and saw one bass that looked to be 22-24"
he just slowly nosed dived into the deep water.

Thanks for the fishing report. Not sure if and when we are going there. One of these days.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thought we might go tomorrow but we are going to a different lake instead. Maybe next week...
