Prayers coveted

I don't feel comfortable posting publicly about what I could use prayers for right now because it's pretty private, but I have a couple of big things happening in my life right now and need peace from God as I navigate them.  It's not all bad, but I find myself feeling a little anxious at times and I know God wants me to just relax and trust Him.  So if any of my brothers and sisters think of while praying today and tomorrow, I am asking the Lord for peace.  Thanks all.

Lord I pray that you will walk beside Tom in his time of need.  May you guide and comfort  him in his needs both spoken and unspoken.  May you lift and carry the burdens he can not handle, and grant him the peace of Christ to deal with what ever needs to be done by him.  May he continue in his trust that you will provide for his needs.

Thanks guys.  Today is going to be an interesting day.  I will find out about one of the items I was asking prayer for later.  On pins and needles.   

On an unrelated note, a dear friend passed away due to cancer last night.  So for the next few days, I'll be comforting the family and dealing with funeral arrangements.  He was an older gentleman, but still way too young to die.  He loved Christ and is home with Him, so there is cause for rejoicing.  But he'll be missed. 

This is shaping up to be a very long week.

Prayers sent. Anxiety is such a human condition. We can't seem to get rid of it. Trying is good though. Hope things are going the way you need them and sorry to hear about your friend. When I was young and thought I would live forever, I didn't know what it was going to be like when more people I knew started passing on. Finding out. Learning. Always learning. I hope. At least trying.

Makes me definitely want to say 'be nice to each other' more often than I do.
