Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

on his earnings from me alone while I'm waiting impatiently for April 28. Name a size or color of Senko, I've bought it. The folks at Gander Mountain, MC Sports, Dunhams, Bass Pro Shops, and I are on a first-name basis. Somebody please stop me! Is there a 12-step program for compulsive tackle buyers?
Oh wait, I don't have any Alabama Rigs yet. Never mind.

Waterfoul

LOL!!  You are not alone.

I've got half a dozen A-rigs and dozens of baits to throw on them, and have only used one.  We threw it down at Table Rock Lake last week and actually caught fish.  I even stopped at Bass Pro in Springfield, MO (the first and biggest Bass Pro Shop) and bought a 7'6" BPS Crankin Stick to throw it on.  Matched with a Shimano Curado it worked great.

As for Senkos... I save some money and catch as many fish using Nemesis Baits Sickos.  I use his A-Rigs too.  Great stuff.

Waterfoul,
Which cranking stick did you get and how did it perform? Would you recommend it?

I have the MH 7'6" telescoping Crankin Stick.  I am at work so I don't have the model number handy.  And yes, it works great.  I have no problem casting to max distance and it handled the fish we caught with little effort.  I was running the Nemesis A-rig with 3/8ths oz ball head jigs and Reaction Innovations Little Dippers.

Retirement is great, but if I keep buying tackleboxes and filling them up, I may have to go back to work. My wife says I can't possibly use all the crankbaits, worms, hooks, rods, reels, and line I've bought...She just doesn't understand.

Skulley

I'm working and the bride doesn't understand. They never will.

I want to take the tackle out of my boat, lay it all out, and re-organize it back in my plano's.  But that is going to have to be a covert operation.  Last time I got caught I recieved a lecture every time I left the house. "Dont buy any more fishing stuff...blah, blah, blah!" ;)

Wow!  Sucks to be you guys. I am very fortunate. My wife doesn't say a word to me about spending money on fishing. She says she's just happy that I'm not in the bars.

As far as plastics go, I have a tub in my boat that is full of Strike King Zero's,it weighs 8 pounds. That is my favorite plastic.
