Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Who would have thought that the Michigan Wolverines would be playing for the National Title tonight?!?! Certainly not me. They have takin' down some pretty tough teams in the tournament this year. Interesting how they struggled in the Big Ten but haven't lost a non-conference game.  :o  Wow  :o  So my alma mater, Michigan wins tonight 71 to 67 and their undefeated non-conference record remains intact and are the 2013 National Champions.      "M" Go Blue!!!

It WOULD BE NICE IF THEY STARTED AT 8:30 INSTEAD OF 9:45....I'll never see the end....

Great game, great performance by Michigan's bench. Pretty crappy officiating both ways - that let some really bad stuff go and made some really bad calls or no calls. Spike had an amazing first half performance and Luke kept Louisville in the game. If it wasn't for him, Michigan would have taken this game.

Great game overall but I agree about the officials. They were very inconsistent all game long. They caused two of our best players to get in foul trouble and that changed some things in this game. Great game from spike he really saved the day with Burke in foul trouble. What an awesome year for big blue, can't wait for next season, hopefully most guys stay another year!!

I thought they were going to win!! So close. I don't watch basketball much but I was a fair weather fan for parts of those final 3 games. Very exciting... maybe next year.

GO BLUE!!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
