It is VERY rare that I get any amount of time off from work. I got yesterday and today off. My wife's grandmother passed Sunday, so I have tomorrow off. I have Thursday off to go to Grand Rapids due to my wife's back surgeries.

I laid around for a good part of the day.  It was nice to just relax and not worry about doing anything for once. I ran to Sears to get a guick disconnect tool so I could fix my truck. I also ended up with a new garage door opener. It was tough  not to buy a big stainless tool box while I was there

No matter what I was doing, I kept thinking, hook up the boat. Go fishing. Just as the smile crossed my face, I remembered that I was still in Michigan. Oh yeah, the one backwards state that has a closed bass season. It's going to take a minute to get used to this time of year again. Kinda like dating everything 13 instead of 12. I sure hope my wife still likes me. If not, this closed season might be bad.
