Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

GONNA BE HITTING UP WHITMORE LAKE AND THE PORTAGE CHAIN tomorrow sunday 11/4/12

I was out on whitmore early october and the fishing was so so and found some good ones but nothing to be staying there all day over unless we get into them good.

has anyone been out to any of these lakes? and can they offer any helpful info? will anyone be out there fishing?

Portage Chain should be good. I think they just had a tournament there but haven't seen the results yet. Or maybe it was just fishing. I would choose that first anyway because of the variety.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I didn't see this post until just now.  How'd you make out on Sunday?
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Personally I'm more partial to the Portage chain in the fall. I have had some good fall days on Whitmore. There are better lakes in the fall than those two. I like Belleville, Ford, and Woodland better. Great for fall crank baiting. Spinnerbait bite can be real good also.
