I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I am already getting cabin fever and I can still go out fishing.  This winter is going to be a long one.  My question to everyone is do you think the water levels will come back up for next year?  Trying to plan for Spring already and the low water has ruled out a lot of spawning flats where I fish.  How have the water levels affected the bodies of water everyone else has fished this year?  I know from talking to everyone else who fishes the Grand, the fish in the main river were smaller than usual and Spring Lake seemed to be better.

I spend a good amount of time on Sanford and wixom lakes in midland county. Both lakes are reservoirs and the water was a little down this year but we could still fish all our spots. Out on the saginaw bay and Lake Huron the water levels were the lowest I have ever seen and I have been making trips to those areas for over 10 years. Last years mild winter sure didn't help.  I'm not a fan of winter but I hope we get a good cold winter with a decent amount of snow to help these levels come back up

It will all depend on the winter.  We need a COLD winter with lots of ice on the lakes and a LOT of snow on the ground in order to help bring the lake levels back up.   That said, it will take years and years of heavy snow/ice winters to bring the level of the great lakes back to anything near what the were in the early 90's.

So if want more water in your lake or the great lakes, pray for cold and snow!!

Praying. I even threw in a new Arctic Cat....just don't want a perfectly good new sled to be lonely on those cold snowy winter nights.

Are you saying you bought a new sled?
