I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

A few changes and updates in the original post as of 12:51am on 9/25/2012.

thedude is still fishing with FF. Duck stamps are still required to bring in any waterfowl (not our Waterfoul, the feathered kind), only if in season! ;D

We might end up with an open backseat if someone has to work too late to make it up there Sunday. Don't be shy. Some of us can take 3 total.

I would like to file a formal protest!!!

Genie and LGMOUTH!!!!  Really!  I don't think that is fair to any other team.  You cannot put those two together.

You should swap Ypsibass and lgmouth, I have never fished with lgmouth.  That assumes that Ypsi can put up with Genie.   ;D

Waterfoul

I believe this to be an "almost anything goes" tournament Doug... so I'd say the 9 footer is legal.

I honestly have no idea where to begin up there... shallow?  Stumps?  River?   Torch?
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

thedude

i didn't spend much time on skeg last year - from the other lakes i've fished around/near there - fish the breaks and look for steep drops or any abnormal features like points, turns,  wood, weeds etc like you would anywhere else.  lakes like elk - just drag a tube around and watch your graph. cranks can be a great a search bait and out produce soft plastics if the conditions are right. don't fear the wind.

Is a 9 ft rod legal for this tournament?

Normally. No.... but, I'm willing to make a 1-person exception if you get video of Don trying to use it. Especially if he is on your shoulders at the time!

The MadWags Memorial Members' Tournament is DEFINITELY NOT an 'anything goes' event!?! Clearly, I mentioned before that I will be checking duck stamps this year before any ducks can be weighed in!

I'm sure we could get Don on my shoulders just fine, but Cy and Thedude will probably be driving circles around the boat making the boat tipsy!
