Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Hey I'm from Pennsylvania and am making a fishing trip up to lake Erie July 1st. We are debating whether to stay at Long Point Provincial Park or Rhondeau Bay Provincial Park.
--They are both on the Canadian side--
Anyone know about the fishing in Long Point bay, it is near the Long Point Wildlife area near the town of Norfolk.
Anyone know about the fishing around Rhondea Bay? It is between Lake St. CLaire and Lake Erie below the town of Chatam-Kent.
We are looking to catch smallmouth and largemouth bass mainly.
Thanks!

Did you get me personal message about Rondeau Bay? Hopefully, that resource helps you with your decision. Let's hope we see a good fishing report later with some pictures!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Long point bay is probably the greatest fishery I have ever fished, I once weighed 5 fish for 27 pounds and did not cash a check. I have fished both Rondeau and Long point and its not even close. Inside the bay at long point is phenomonal large mouth fishing 150 fish days are not uncommon and just outside the bay is amazing smallmouth fishing. Only down side to Long Point is a lot of the water in the bay is posted no trespasssing, apparently you can own water in ontario, but there is plenty to fish that is public

Yeah im going to call vince tommorow and talk about Rhondeau.Uh its such a hard decision!! before that report on long point i was leaning towards Rhondeau, but now long point sure sounds great. Hmmm ill have to think more into it tomorow ill check back in the forum tomorow night. THANKS!

Does Long point get more windy than Rhondeau?? I have a tracker 18 ft aluminum

bow2ukblue

Long point Bay is much more protected from the wind, it does get choppy but there are plkenty of places to fish out of the wind. When I first started fishing it , I was fishing out of a 17 aluminum bass tracker and never had any problems
