So with just over 2 weeks to go till opening day of C&R where will you be fishing? If the weather is nice I may try my luck on LSC. If not nice probaly Kent.
Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

I've got a number of lakes I can't wait to fish, but I think opening day I'm going to Magician Lake in the Sister Lakes area.  I've got quite a few new techniques I want to try out this year.

dartag

Last couple years have been on white lake then lunch at the inn.  Not sure this year since I will be getting ready for patoka lake.  Kent could be fun also

matt

Probably Ann Arbor river.....I'm finally getting off shore and into kayak fishing. I'm getting myself into a whole new game.

I'm super excited for this season to open up!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Speaking of the Michigan catch and release opener. Literally. I'll be speaking about that topic this weekend on Wild Michigan Radio with my friend Duran Martinez. Probably a short 10 minute segment about what to expect, where to go. We'll see if he has anything else in mind.

You all know I do like to talk about bass fishing! You can visit the link above for show times and stations. Duran is pretty good about getting podcasts up too. You can always keep up with the latest Wild Michigan on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/wildmichigan. Don't follow his 'advice' about using your droid as an underwater video camera though!?! ;D

This opening day I won't be fishing.  Instead I'll be attending my son's commissioning into the Army.  His mother and I will be pinning on his Lieutenant bars during the ceremony.

If it weren't for that, I'd be fishing with the Downriver Bass Association on Lake St. Clair.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I'm thinking Muskegon.  Or Wabasis.  Or Gun.  Or Mona.

No idea!!  But I will be fishing that weekend for sure.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

I will be on St. Clair somewhere between 9 mile and the mouth of the Detroit River.  If the weather is bad, I might head for Kent or Bellville Lake.

Yeah, what DK said. I think your on the Mile Roads until you're south of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. The GPYC is at 8 Mile Road. South of that is the Grosse Pointe Area by Wayne's Marked Map Series.........or not. Just don't get lost Don.   :o
