Hey guys just wanting ur advise on what u think is the best topwater bait to use when it is raining outside, whether its spring, summer, or fall? Thanks

djkimmel

I've had some phenomenal days in the rain on buzzbaits. I think the bass can pick them out and track them easier.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Light to moderate chop I'll always throw a spook type bait unless they're holding tight to cover then I'll throw a popper.

I'd like to catch a fish on a buzzbait...I've only had limited success with them and I don't know why.

The buzzbait was the Alabama Rig of its day when it first came out. It was that devastating! Some people wanted it banned or outlawed. It would wipe out the bass! Sound familiar? I love buzzbaits. One of the most fun ways to catch bass - largemouth AND smallmouth!

Yep hard to beat a buzzer when there is a chop or a rain.Man can not wait to do some buzzin ;D

I even break out the buzzbait in the middle of sunny days if it suddenly gets real cloudy. I've had some memorable fishing periods with that alone!

Hmm, I'm kinda surprised at all the answers! I was thinking when I posted this every one would say poppers or walking baits but the majority is buzzbaits.  Ya I remeber when the mini buzzbaits were killer!
