Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

dartag

Drove by today hoping to see open water but it's still frozen over. :-[

Drove by Ford Lake yesterday and it was pretty open.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

dartag

still ice covered.  there is a lot of water flowing in under Buno.  Should go fast if we get some rain.

viclafata

The lake is still covered, However it is starting to break up around the shore by the X-way. It is also looking real dark. There was a couple of guys still fishing Thursday by Turtlehead.

EKennedy

Drove by yesterday...some open water.  Still about 80% ice though.   Seems to be clearing out...slowly.
Stay patient my friends. 8)

kent is almost clear.  there is some ice in the bays.  Union is about 1/2 open you could launch but if the wind changes there will be lots of ice at the launch.

looks like another week of couch fishing for me.

By monday, Kent will be totaly ice free, YESSSSSSS!!!!

huston

But is the launch in at Kent?????

i didn't think they ever took the launch out at Kent.

Perhaps a bigger question is though, are they raising the water level?

With my old boat, I waited until that large rock that can  be seen in the water by the Expressway bridge is under water.

With a 16' aluminum boat, and no 4 wheel drive, I couldn't launch until it was.  Now with my 18.5 ' Ranger, it might be a little easier.

There other thing is, with all the stumps and trees in that lake, I gotta wonder about hitting stuff until the water level is up some from winter pool.

But, those of you that go west bound on I96, is the rock under water yet?

Or, does anybody know if they've at least started raising the water levels yet?

I was out there for a walk yesterday.  I didn't pay attention for that rock, but the lake is free of ice in all the spots I saw.  Water levels are still down.
