Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Well the spawn for the most part in now in full swing down here. I have been on Lake James the last two nights and fished the Wednesday nighter out ther last night from 5:30-9:00. We ended up in third and had big bass for $170.00 with three fish that went arounnd 8 pounds. I hate bed fishing on those short night tourneys. I have a bad tendency to spend too long on a fish that I know should bite and before you know it the night is over. I ended up losing our two limit fish and then it got personal. I felt I had to catch them and never did >:( stubborn ole me. It was a lot better than fourth, so I can't complain. Fourth place got Wednesday nighter t-shirts, don't get me wrong they were nice t-shirts, but I prefer the green ;D! The smallies out there are currently trying to make a decision, to spawn or not to spawn. There are a few locked up but the number of big females loaded with eggs cruising around in the shallows just boggles my mind right now. In the next couple of days it will be awesome out there. Most of our good smallie lakes are in full swing, but deep and unbelievably clear James just doesn't warm up very fast. The main lake is still 55 and most lakes around here are over 60. If I can get a free weekend I need to head up to the Coldwater chain and catch a few C&R Michigan smallies. They are much more cooperative than the Lake James variety. God Bless and Good Fishin' everyone!

We're thinking about coming over there (James) on the 13th. Couple circuits have tourneys there then. Were any of those Mrs. fish up on the humps?
Look past what they want you to see.
