I recently saw a guy using a lure similar to this:

for bass. I would like to knw some more info on it like who makes it etc. It was about the size of a Hula Popper and red.

McCarter

years ago, my old man had a legit ten lb bass hooked up on one of these on KY lake.  too bad the lure was so old and hooks so dull that once the bass realized what was going on, he just opened his mouth and let go.  but he held on long enough for my dad to pull him up alongside the boat.  i will never forget laughing at him when he pulled that treat out of his tackle box and clipped it on a giant gold swivel.

McCarter himself :-\'

I'd say it's a Heddon Crazy Crawler Spook

There was a guy at that outdoor show in GR that was selling lures similar to this one.  It was a little bigger than the ones in the link above.  It looked nice, but he wanted something like 30 bucks or more for it.  I wish I could remember farther back then a few days. :P
