Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I have to weigh in with Lake Oakland - can't ever seem to catch anything out there - I have seen big bags get weighed, but no idea how?  If its from shollow waer docks, kinda explains alot - not fishing the right ones I guess!

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them

Duck Lake in Calhoun County can be pretty frustrating especially during the summer.  It really earns the title "No Luck Duck" for me.

Starting about three years ago, Wixom has become THAT lake for me. For about 5 or 6 years, up until then, I couldn't not cash a check there. In about 7 tournamnents during that stretch, I weighed in Big Bass 6 times, and placed in all but one.

Now, I'm lucky if I can catch more than one, or two keepers. It's like someone flipped a switch. Frustrating thing is, the fish are there, I've seen them weighed in. I've donated to those who have weighed them in. Isn't that right, Boatman Rob? ;)

Bulletproof I agree -- 3 post spawn tourneys fished on Houghton Lake have produced ZERO keepers, but I do like to catch pike!

djkimmel

I think you can catch Houghton Lake pike in the parking lots...! Seems that way out there sometimes anyway.

I dont enjoy fishing white lake. I can go out there in practise and spank-em but on tourny day I always have my behind handed to me by the dock fisherman. I really hate boat dock lakes as I learned to fish as a little kid on offshore type patterns and that is how i like to fish and what I am good at.

I hate the St. Joe River in South Bend. I have scored money out there several times, but it has killed me more than not. I can never stay on a pattern...

I can see that could be tough - especially with all the loud racing boats running from dam to dam over and over and over... maybe they're not there all the time - a few out there already today though.
