Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Fished out of Maggies on Saturday. Water temp 63 even. Fanning males all over the place. Don't think I had 5 that would weigh but did have a beaut that went 4 - 0 on the rapalla digital scale. White on white spinner bait.
Why is the river warmer than the lakes? Highest lake temps I've heard is around 60 for most.
Won't be long now.....

I have a buddy that fished a club tourney on Maggies Saturday and won with 10# 12 oz. I didn't believe it until 3 of his witnesses confirmed it. He said the smallies are on beds now and the largemouth are getting ready. He caught all of his fish on the main river.

I love fishing rivers... I haven't fished that one ever before (in Indiana or for bass anyway).

Of course, I love lakes and reserviors too ;D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

1:00 A.M., man don't you ever sleep?
Maggies (Mishawaka) has the most room while Six Span (Elkhart) I think has the best fishing.  6 Span also gets the most pressure, it's relentless there. There's a couple dams in between, you'ld think yhey would of put us in some locks or something!
With your love for rivers that must mean you'll be on SCR during the BFL on LSC......sounds like some secret code or something!

If I can find and catch them consistently I will... that time of year is real iffy for me in the channels, but a few guys were getting huge limits up there early last year.
