I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

How is throwing a weightless senko on 8lb test on spinning gear so different than dropshotting? Still a sissy way to fish isn't it? Throw it out let it fall to the bottom and repeat, doesn't sound like a manly way to fish to me. I actually think its the easiest way to catch fish, the action of the bait does all the work for you. Now skipping docks with it that's a different story...
Kinda surprised you put a senko in the same category as the dropshot Dude. I remember when I fished with you a few years back and you threw that thing all day. You must have changed your style since then.

hahaha. yeah - i admit it. i was a senko chucker.... but i didn't throw it all day... i used a beaver too i'm sure.   ;D  In the past 3 years, i've probably gone through 4 packs of senkos.  i can count the times i used them this past year for something other than dock fishing on 1 finger in fact.  I know they catch fish, lots in fact - i just have more confidence in coaxing bigger fish on other baits. I pretty much go out and fish for 5 bites these days rather than 20 and sort.

Doesn't always work - but i'm still learning and trying to be better at it. When its all said and done, i think having techniques mastered that a majority of the competition can't or don't use is what will put me in the money.

im practically the same way...i use to use the senko exclusivelly, i hardly touch it anymore and would like to work it back into my fishing. its hard to pick back up when you can jerk a 3lb+ fish out from underneath a dock/boat on the hookset with a jig. as for the drop shot i pretty much only use it on st clair...on an inland lake if you see me doing it youll know im up the creek without a paddle. theres a difference between catching fish and winning a tournament, and im not saying the DS wont win tournaments theres a time and place for everything
