I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

As most of you probably know, Josh, Jeff, and I are pouring some baits and trying to come up with some new stuff that might help us catch more fish.

We came up with a creature bait that is in desperate need of a name.

Take a look at the picture below and post anything that comes to mind.  We are hoping that one of you comes up with a name that will stick.  And if so, we shall reward you with some customs baits by '3 guys with beer guts lure company'.  Just kidding about the company name, tho it does fit us to a T.

Here you go

    " Devils porpus"

because of the prongs in the back.
Your either getting better or worse you never just stay the same

For some reason, it made me think of Jar Jar Binks (Binx however you spell it...)

It made me think even more of a bad cartoon alien, but I can't think of the specific name that I'm picturing in my head. Maybe it could be the Bradbury's Creature?

I'll give it some more thought.

Make sure you spell it right though.
I think Wild Thang is already taken by another maker of baits.

The head of that thing reminds me of a Venus Flytrap.  Even the apendages remind me a bit of a plant.  So I vote for Venus Flytrap.

Give it a Fro and it would remind us of THE Venus Flytrap.  he he he.  Were you more of a Johnny Fever or Venus Flytrap fan in those days?

Ear wig - GROSS!!!

I like the sound of Johnny Fever better, but my hero would be tie between Les (I honestly thought turkeys could fly) Nesman or Herb Tarlick.

There's a cartoon alien in my memory that really looks exactly like the new lure, but I cannot for the life of me remember the show or the creatures name... darn.

How about      "the triple threat"
it could be because of the 3 sets of appendages, or because you could fish it 3 different ways (probably more but quadruple threat doesn't sound as cool)

fowlmouth

never mind... I googled triple threat bait and found six different companies making triple threat named lures on the first page. back to the drawing board
