I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

DECEMBER 31 IS ONLY A DAY AWAY! So please check your FLW Outdoors membership to see if it has expired and please get it updated today OR AT LEAST BEFORE NOON ON DECEMBER 31! Don`t cost your state valuable dollars for their youth and conservation programs. CALL FLW OUTDOORS BEFORE NOON ON DECEMBER 31 TO GET UPDATED AT 270-252-1000

Additionally, effective immediately and starting with 2009 FLW Outdoors dues will run a calendar year Jan 1 to Dec 31 nationwide just like TBF dues! This should make it much easier to remember to pay your TBF and FLW Outdoors dues at the same time in December and you will be done for the year! There will be some transition issues of course and we will address them.

Also please note that due to much confusion with the new Fantasy Fishing and players advantage costs last year (at $39.95). FLW Outdoors has simplified the whole process to better benefit the members. There is only one now. FLW Gold advantage membership which is now $35.00 a year and INCLUDES players advantage. FLW dues have been $25 dollars since Irwin Jacobs bought the company many years ago. So while they were due for an increase, instead of simply increasing dues from 25 to 35 with no added benefits, they chose to make it a better value by including full Fantasy Fishing players advantage for all with the new $35.00 membership.

The standard $25.00 FLW membership is gone for everyone EXCEPT TBF members. Our agreement with FLW was that a $25.00 membership would stay for the term of our current five year partnership agreement which ends December 2010. So TBF members can still call FLW Outdoors at 270-252-1000 and get the $25.00 dollar membership but TBF members are the only ones and I would HIGHLY encourage each of your to go ahead and get the $35 dollar gold membership and get started playing Fantasy fishing. It is easy money and has several advantages. Here's proof.

Many TBF members won regular season Fantasy Fishing prizes last year. Two TBF members made the final 15 of the year end Fantasy Fishing standings. A California TBF member Steve Reed, Davis, Calif., won a new Chevy Silverado Truck and the Minnesota TBF Youth Director, Jeffrey Nelson, New Brighton, Minn. won a $15,000.00 Wal-Mart Gift Card.

Now you can choose the TBF $25 dollar membership and play Fantasy Fishing for free as anyone can play for free. But I should tell you that MANY of the winners throughout the year credited players advantage for their $100,000.00 wins. It's fun. You can create your own team within your state or club. Teams come with your own message board where you can post messages or talk a bit of smack. Some TBF clubs are using the Players Advantage, setting up teams within their clubs and using their Fantasy Fishing standings for club points and year end club awards. If your not playing your missing out.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
