Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Regarding the July 8, 2007 TBF of Michigan State Championship:
Due to personal issues for a few members, and the FLW Tour off limits issue, I have no extra nonboaters to match up with any boaters at this time. I ended up losing a total of 7 nonboaters, so if you want to still fish, you can sign up, but I can not guaranty your boater status and can't send you in until I get another member to sign up.

The only outstanding people I know of that will still be signing up are boater/nonboater pairs at this time.

If I get any more unattached nonboaters to sign up, I will contact boaters who showed previous interest in the order you joined the club to see if you want to fish.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
