Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

My brother and I are going up on Thursday and Friday and was wondering where the best smallmouth action is on traverse bay, someone said the spawn peaks around the fourth of July and we were wondering if we could get in on the spawning action. If anyone has some areas or any suggestions to put us on some fish we'd appreciate it , thanks

East bay is really hot right now with a lot of easy 2lb males for the pickin.  I found that surface temp on east bay is in the low 70's where as west bay was only 64 as of last night.  You shouldn't have a problem catching nice size bass on either side right now.  I would buy a hot spots map and look for shallow weed beds in under 8 foot of water.  Find the weed beds and you will catch bass.  two techniques that are working well right now is burning spinnerbaits and wacky rigged senko's.
good luck and have fun

I also will be up there next week and plan on fishing the bay with a buddy of mine. What colors are working best  ???

fishndooder

in spinnerbaits chartreuse and white has worked best for me.  while fishing wacky I have found chartreuse, as well as watermelon to be equally affective.
hope this helps
