I just received the 2018 Michigan BFL bass tournament schedule and I see they are going back to an older, more variety formula from a number of years ago for a change. I expect some of you will like it. Maybe some won't?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Does anyone know if 2019 is expected to be a repeat? Or back to the rotation of St Clair and Detroit River? They normally "Unofficially" announce tentative Dates / Locations at the Super Tournament which was this weekend just past.

I see St. Clair, St. Clair, St. Clair, Detroit River, Detroit River. Out of control variety right there... ;D

Did they not draw much in 2018 (I admit I wasn't watching - too much fishing to do).

Been discussed on other boards quite a bit.

Probably did it to maximize entries.  They raised entry fees to 300 boater and 150 non boater for regular events.  There payout per event is 53% of entries paid.  I know the end result is the no entry regional at KY Lake and a chance at the All American.  But to me it does not make a good business case to fish them.  The ST Clair guys will be happy they are all in there back yard.
