Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I am going to back out so you will be even.   Got to get the wife ready for her big show in Sault St Marie the week after.   Have fun all.

If we fish it I'd be fishing it with Derek. He says he can do it but are we going to do it anyway with so few competitors? Let me know for those of you who said you'd go.

Well, Manxfishing is out for Sunday. I'm thinking we call it off for this weekend since at best there's 2 boats??

I would if I were you. We are going to go to a different lake for something different to do.

Sorry to back out but 2 boats, maybe 3 isn't enough interest to keep us going. We should schedule for next year ahead of time later this fall and see if the chips fall better with more time for people to prepare?

I see there is a tournament there today so guess it's probably best we are not in there way.

djkimmel

That might have seemed more crowded and less productive. Though our day on Lake Hudson was not what I would call productive either...

So did this ever happen?
I would love to get on this, I would not be competitive but would have fun trying, I have never caught a fish on one but tried quite a bit for an hour at a time this year.
Doing this would most likely help me a lot.

djkimmel

Did not happen this year but if bob o would schedule one for next year maybe you'll get another shot at it. Keep posting on the forum. The best way to learn things and get to know more anglers!

August
someone else pick the weekend  ::) i'm good with that

dartag

Went out the Kent yesterday for a drive.   Lots of slop in the river and out towards the lake.  Might have to go Punching next week.

detroithiker

My dumb question.
Is frog season over? or is this just about getting the date that works for everyone?

djkimmel

Frog season isn't over but it's hard to get a date that everyone can make because there are club events and all those other 2,000 bass tournaments, along with family and job duties to deal with when trying to schedule an event anglers will make.

djkimmel

I don't mind taking the fault for rain if you pick the date and lake for next year!
