Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Went to St. Clair May 7-10 had a great time, didn't get the 300 or so you read about. But did average 50 smallies a day and plus a dozen pike and only one Muskie about 46 inches. Launched out of Harley Insign great launch. Most on jerk baits did get quite a few on squarebills (strike king) bluegill 1.5 sorry no pics biggest smallmouth 4.12 lots of 2 1/2 3 pounders we was out in front of the big marines fishin the channels. Plan on another trip, beautiful lake

thanks for the reports guys, the Lake Norman Mafia are head up starting about the 2nd week in June for a week or so fishing. We got about 6 or 7 boats 8) Whats the story on Selfridge  Ramp is it open and complete??

Firefighter Jeff

Selfridge was fine to launch out of in early May.  They have the most Eastern part of the parking area closed off because of construction.

Rangerman

Thanks, we most times use Selfridge and Crocker just depends on the wind.  :D Crocker can be a Fire Drill on week-ends

djkimmel

Crocker has been rocking busy this spring. It was filled to overflow in the morning by ~8-9am on a Thursday! So get there early. But you can always get in a Harley and go North or South.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I know the drill 8) Really like Selfridge for Anchor Bay etc, kind of like to stay away from Crocker due to fire drill parking and launch :D Never seen such a bunch of no backing slow un loading and load bunch in my life. DNR need to give load lessons :D :D and how to back the boat down on the trailer and unload it and not keep the ramp tied un for 15 ot 20 mins. :D :D Do like the Mile Road and Crocker works best for that. We just hope the wind will be kind to use after riding 12 hours one way ;D and most of all the fish are very kind to us. Love the catch and release due to the numbers bite.
