Got Fish??

Do you have a favorite  body of water, that you have the most confidence  on or you just catch a lot of fish on? A body of water  where your just to tough to beat.  Either  for pleasure  or tournament . I have two, Long  Lake  in Oakland County. Cub Lake  in kalkaska  County. Where is your home lake?

I guess I'd say Wabasis and both of the Whitefish Lakes north of GR.  Maybe add Bass Lake near Gowen too.  Usually do pretty well on all these lakes.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

For me Ponemah and Lobdell in the Fenton are area usually the first couple i head to each year, and hit more than once during the season.  I usually do pretty good at each one.

Union Lake.  Lived on it for 30 years.  Learn new things about it every year.  Clear water almost all year.     Kent for lots of weeds and pads.

Upper Straits is my home lake (loaded with lots of smallies and LM) and Wolverine for a quick evening fish.

I like Commerce Lake.  I've been fishing it for years when it's too rough to go out on Clair.  Big smallmouth and largemouth bass in that lake.

Grew up bass fishing on Big Bass Lake in Lake county. Manistee and Portage our my favorites fish them a lot when I am north. Lake Lansing is near my house hit that a lot.

I'd have to consider Lake St. Clair as my home lake.  I have lived no more than 10 minutes away from it my entire life, and it is where I spend the most time fishing.  I've had my best tournament finish there and where caught my personal best.  I can honestly say that when I am idling out of the nine mile launch as the sun is rising and the lake is at it calmest, there is no place on earth I would rather be.

Waterfoul

I guess I would add Glen Lake in Leelanau county.  Been fishing there since I was a kid (so that's over 40 years now!).  Sometimes I miss that old 14' row boat.  Not the 5 hp Johnson though... that thing sucked!   ;D
