Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just got my info from FLW and see entry fees went up 10 %. They switched to 3 down river and 2 on St-Clair.    Was thinking about fishing them but not sure I want to invest that much more.  Maybe just fish the first one in June.  Had fun at it last year.

Hollada

I'm debating as well.  Didn't fare to well on Erie this year, but who knows what next year could bring :-)

I was thinking about fishing them also but my daughter's wedding is on the first one in June...so that leaves me with 3 downriver and one on LSC...When I fish downriver the costs go way up because of hotel expenses then I worry about my boat sitting at the hotel....I haven't fished much the last 2 years either because of caring for my dad...so I am a little behind.
Maybe I will register as a Coangler and I can always switch over to a boater because it seems like there is always room for more boaters..  at least that will get me on the water..

Im thinkin I will fish the rayovac on erie instead of 5 bfls,5 weekends, 5 prefishes , and 5 drives, that adds up quick.

I think alot of guys have started to go that route.....If the BASS open schedule was a little more Michigan friendly I would consider that...

Is it mandatory for a boater and nonboater to enter these together?  Just curious since I am thinking I wouldn't mind fishing 1 or 2 next season and I don't know if I would have to find a boater.  I see a lot of nonboats looking for boaters.  Thanks.

Hollada

Not mandatory.  Just guarantees you a spot.  Signing up without a boater's member number gets you on a wait list.

Does anyone know if there is still open spots for these BFL tournaments or do they fill up fairly quick?

dartag

they have not had a full field for as long as I have fished.  If you are fishing as a co-angler it will help to find a boater to link with.  Then your are guaranteed to get in.  If you don't know one you can post on here and try and find one.

Good luck...
