Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Here it is - the 1st DK Spring Open - catch-and-release bass tournament for forum members only on Saturday 5/12/07 - Lake St. Cliar

Mark your calendars and plan to catch (and release) a bunch of bass on this world class fishery.

Launch: Harley Ensign Ramp, South River Rd/Clinton River

Type: Boaters/nonboaters drawn together and then work as a team - best 5 bass

Weigh-in: Catch-and-Release - measure with Golden Rule board and record lengths

Hours: 8am until 2pm (we'll launch early if everybody is there and ready to go)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Count me in as a non-boater.

Are we going to use the same Golden Rule catch and release measuring boards that the ABA uses? If so I have 2 that I can bring.

Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

The Golden Rule would be the best tool to use for a spring catch-and-release event. Anyone with extras would probably help since not everyone may have them.

Bring your digital cameras to take a few pictures of fish during the day for the web site report later since there will be no weigh in at the ramp.

That time of year, we can go out of Harley Ensign or Selfridge. The cutoff ramp too probably, but I think since we'll have anglers going north and south - we'll split the difference and go out of Harley Ensign in the middle - the end of South River Rd at the Clinton River mouth.

More details after the Novi Show.

Didn't say if he was in the bay or not. He just kept saying lake michigan. They were in a bay, but it looked pretty small to be traverse bay. He was nailin 4-5# smallies on a spinnerbait and a little finess worm.
