Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

That sounds like a GREAT vacation, I am going to try it next year.

Please keep us posted!!!

Dan

I too will be up in Michigan's Great Northwest Corner, for a week chasing smallies. I talked to a guy today that said he was on the Bay yesterday and saw a few smallies sunning on the rocks, but they were very spooky. No bed fishing for a while there. Blades would still be good. He said the temp 25 ft. down was 36 degrees and surface temps were in the low forties. Inland lakes will be firing up with the full moon coming next week.

6pm friday afternoon just got home. Not as good as I thought it would be. Hit Torch Lake and river Sat afternoon all we found was a couple of fish on beds in the river nothing on the lake. My son Jason tried like heck to hook into this big musky that was in the river but no luck with that either. More in the fishing report section tomorrow.
