Stairs of Smith

If you're the type that is always counting your steps for the day to stay healthy, then maybe you should purchase property at Smith Lake. Some of the stairs go up and zigzag, some go in sparrows and some even have elevators. The cliff walls of Smith Lake are over 100 feet straight up.

Frink update

After he had three quick bites in the morning, Tom Frink caught nonkeepers here and there. After two hours from early bites, he finally landed fish number four which estimates at about 2 pound. He now wants to fill out the limit with a 4-pounder.

Largemouth, spots or both?

Day 1 of the Basspro.com Bassmaster Central Open at Lewis Smith Lake served to be a challenge for the majority of the field. Only 39 limits were brought to the scales on a shortened Day 1 due to a nearly two-hour fog delay.
